Hello. I'm Hallie and i'm a nurse for Italy. I chose to go in because my husband got drafted at the age of 22. I didn't want to part from him with such a risk of losing him, so i joined as a nurse.

ITALY IS #1!!!!!!

December 8th,
This war is getting really rediculous. Everyone is losing so many men and not gaining anything!
Us nurses are so busy trying to heal everyone, but there are so many injured or dead. We are still neutral at the moment, but i think that ahead of us, we have a major decision... Do we join allies or not?

Assassination of the archduke Ferdinand:
This assassination didn'n affect Italy much because we were neutral, but being allies with Austria-Hungary might change that because if they do something about the assassination then we will have to back them up like they would us which would cause a bigger fight/war involving more countries.

December 15th,
We now have some new inventions helping us stand our ground. We have the tank for our front line, and machine guns for everything else. i personally think that machine guns are smart because they are able to be fired quickly, and can kill many people if needed. They are good protection.

My country is Italy and this is a soldier promoting people to join the army
and become a part of the many soldiers fighting for their country.

Russias exit and and usa's entry helped our country because they were not an ally of ours and were a huge enemy of us. This gave us some more strength and power. Usa is also a threat though because they have a majorly large army.

December 16th,
It was difficult today. We made some meals for the soldiers today, but the numbers keep going down. On the battle fronts many people are getting injured or shot. Many men are so tired and sore.. us nurses have it rough watching some of our own soldiers die on us.

December 18th,
We are allies with Austia-Hungary, and Germany. Now that Germany has left the war and USA has entered, it has not helped us because we were allied with Germany, they were a big part of us...

December 25th,
Christmas was rough being at war still, but we made it through. My husband and I were still together for the holidays so it wasn't too bad. Alot of men and women are still injured though...

January 5th,
The treaty of versailles didn't really make us too happy because we did not get all the land that we were promised. They agreed to give us more land and it didn't happen!!

It felt so great to finally return home. My husband made it throught all the battles and i made it out as well. War was tough, but a great experience of what it's really like having to fight for what you believe in. So many soldiers didn't return, so many were injured, and EVERYONE risked their lives fighting for their countries. It was one, huge, disaster.
